Our mission statement

Our mission statement was developed jointly by management and employees.

We are all committed to this mission statement, which we put into practice through collaborative partnership for the benefit of patients, clients, residents, and the employees themselves. We recognize that the various elements of the mission statement may sometimes conflict with one another, and that the mission statement is not a set of rules but rather a guide for our daily actions.

We recognize health as an essential part of the foundation of quality of life. Promoting health, treating illness, alleviating pain, and providing needs-based care are our top priorities. To this end, as a healthcare provider, we make full use of all available resources for the detection, treatment, and prevention of diseases, as well as for optimal nursing care. An important foundation of our work is a continuous improvement process guided by the following principles:

We respect people

All people—regardless of their origin, language, skin color, religion, nationality, gender, sexual identity, age, or social status—are treated by us with equal respect. Therefore, everyone who turns to us for medical treatment or nursing care may expect humane and compassionate care from us, provided to the best of our knowledge and belief. Together, we ensure that the best interests of the child, as well as the physical and emotional well-being of the people entrusted to our care and our employees, are protected.

We treat our patients, clients, residents, and their caregivers transparently and in accordance with their needs

We ensure that our patients, clients, residents, and caregivers receive transparent treatment planning and implementation tailored to their needs. We conduct ongoing surveys of the people entrusted to our care and use the results to develop a systematic approach to handling praise and complaints for the continuous improvement of our services.

We ensure the best possible treatment, care, and support

Our primary concern is providing the best possible professional and, above all, compassionate medical, nursing, and therapeutic care to
the people who have entrusted themselves to us. In doing so, we are open to medical and nursing innovations. High-quality medical, nursing, and therapeutic care ensures successful treatment. This is complemented by a strong commitment to service.

We work in an interdisciplinary manner and practice cross-sectoral collaboration

Interdisciplinary and seamless collaboration for the benefit of patients, clients, and residents is a key priority for us in all facilities of the
GPR Health and Care Center Rüsselsheim. Through the close networking of our GPR Health and Care Center
Rüsselsheim non-profit GmbH with all its subsidiaries, as well as the GPR Medical Care Center non-profit GmbH and GPR Service
GmbH, we ensure comprehensive care and treatment in inpatient and outpatient care as well as home care.

We facilitate knowledge transfer and are committed to staff development

We demand performance and foster our employees’ capabilities through ongoing professional development in personal, technical, organizational, and social aspects. We support beneficial training, continuing education, and professional development and ensure their implementation, including through the GPR Academy. By sharing knowledge and experience with medical students and trainees within the GPR Group, we lay the foundation for the next generation of dedicated employees.

We foster a positive work environment

We value the positive cultivation of interpersonal relationships. These are characterized by respectful interaction, fairness,
tolerance, and mutual trust. We know that we can only achieve our goals together. Therefore, we offer every employee the opportunity to contribute optimally using their strengths. The integration of employees with disabilities is a matter of course for us. Each individual thus shapes our collaboration and shares responsibility for a positive work environment.

We promote work-life balance

We support our employees in balancing their personal and family needs with the interests of
the company for the mutual benefit and well-being of all. We view the work-life balance as a clear competitive advantage in attracting and retaining the best employees.

We operate economically

We secure our existence and our high standards of medical and nursing care through sound business practices. The expectations and
needs of the people who turn to us in trust must be balanced with cost-effectiveness and sustainability. We consider it our duty to continuously work on improving quality for the benefit of our patients, clients, residents, and caregivers.

We prioritize occupational safety, health protection, and environmental protection

In our business operations, we prioritize the safety and health of our employees in the workplace. The careful use of environmental resources is a matter of course for us.

All employees are encouraged to align themselves with the GPR Group’s mission statement and to help shape its further development. To provide the best possible care for all those in our care, all employees work together in an interdisciplinary and trusting manner.

Outpatient care team

Our Mission Statement

People Are at the Center

Every person is unique. Regardless of their background, language, and skin color, their gender and religious affiliation, their physical and mental condition, or their social status, we respect each person and place them at the center of our efforts.
The care we provide is a professional, person-to-person social service. Our care is guided by a holistic and individualized approach.

We ensure the best possible care

Care interventions focus on health-promoting, disease-preventing, and pain-relieving aspects to provide support even in cases of permanent disabilities and limitations in daily life. We aim to enable the greatest possible well-being in a familiar and comfortable environment.

Patient satisfaction is our stated goal

Care needs are assessed, planned, and organized with the patient in mind. In doing so, our patients’ existing resources are preserved, stabilized, and further developed. Continuous patient feedback is intended to contribute to the ongoing improvement of our services.
The goal is to relieve the burden on family members through activating care, to strengthen the abilities of those in need of care, and at the same time to create a basis of trust that makes it possible to develop a solution strategy together when problems arise.

We embrace interdisciplinary and external collaboration

Agreement on shared principles ensures the quality of care and enables effective teamwork. This includes close and seamless collaboration with private practitioners, the GPR Health and Care Center in Rüsselsheim, and other providers of diagnostics, therapy, and care.

We operate economically

It is also our goal to balance the care of our clients with cost-effectiveness and sustainability in order to offer high-quality services over the long term.

Workplace safety and environmental protection are our top priorities

We ensure the safety of our employees in the workplace and support them in conserving environmental resources.

We continuously work toward our quality goals

Our quality policy and the associated quality objectives are discussed during quality management training sessions and reviewed with our employees. Regular professional development, as well as employee motivation, are therefore an integral part of our work processes.

We strive to balance our commitment to high-quality services with the personal and family needs of our employees.

The quality objectives are set by the management of the GPR Outpatient Care Team and the executive board of GPR Gesundheits- und Pflegezentrum Rüsselsheim gemeinnützige GmbH.

Achievement of these goals is reviewed by the QM representative and the Quality Circle, and if necessary, the target or timeline is adjusted in consultation with nursing management.

All employees are encouraged to align themselves with our organization’s mission statement and to contribute to its further development. To ensure the best possible care for our patients, all employees work together hand in hand.
