Certifications
During the certification process, an independent certification body verifies whether specified standards and guidelines are being met. Certificates are generally valid for three years, and compliance with the requirements is regularly monitored and audited. Participation in certification processes is voluntary, yet we are happy to undertake these tasks because we want to ensure high-quality, sustainable, and, above all, transparent care.
On this page, you can learn more about “certification” at GPR Gesundheits- und Pflegezentrum Rüsselsheim gGmbH. For more detailed information, visit one of the three business divisions listed below.
We are certified according to KTQ
Launched in 2000, this certification process is one of the leading certification schemes for German hospitals. The Cooperation for Transparency and Quality in Healthcare GmbH—KTQ® for short—aims to make the performance of healthcare facilities transparent. It is a process designed to meet the specific requirements of hospitals and, above all, the needs of patients. This is presented to the public through the structured quality report in accordance with KTQ. The GPR has participated in this voluntary certification process since 2004. Recertification takes place every three years.
We are certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015
Our company is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. In accordance with the requirements of the international standard DIN EN ISO, a certified quality management system is monitored once a year to assess its development and, above all, its effectiveness in relation to daily operations. The audit is based on both a review of the management review and the existing quality documents—such as the quality management manual, procedural instructions, etc.—as well as a comparison with actual conditions, which is conducted through visits to the individual departments and detailed discussions with employees and residents.
Quality of life in old age
The Green Checkmark identifies consumer-friendly retirement homes, nursing facilities, and senior residences that provide their residents with a high quality of life in their later years. Our residents feel at home here because we
- respect their wishes,
- take their individual needs into account, and
- ensure that they participate in daily life at the facility.
We applied for an assessment and were evaluated by specially trained volunteer assessors based on the principles of self-determination, participation, and human dignity. We passed this assessment and received a certificate, which you will find prominently displayed in our facility.
