Pastoral care

Hospital Chaplaincy - We're Here for You
You have had to come to the hospital. For you, this brings hopes and wishes, but certainly also fears. A hospital stay is not easy for anyone. But you will soon notice that many people here are dedicated to your care. We hope that you settle in well, build trust with the doctors and nurses, and that your treatment yields the success you hope for.
In addition to the medical and nursing staff, we are also here for you. Our pastoral care is available to you. Perhaps your stay here will also give you time to reflect on various matters, as you gain some distance from your usual daily routine with its tasks and responsibilities.
Please feel free to have the nursing staff on your ward or the support group notify us—the representatives of the hospital chaplaincy—if you would like to have a conversation, receive Holy Communion, or the Anointing of the Sick. Separate rooms are available for confidential conversations. Otherwise, we will visit you as part of our regular rounds.
If you would like the care or support of a clergy member, you can also reach the hospital chaplains by phone.
Church Services and Chapel
We warmly invite you to our church services in the chapel of the GPR Clinic. We hold a
service at 3:00 p.m. every second and fourth Wednesday of the month.
Afterwards, there is a gathering in the cafeteria. You can find a detailed service schedule at the chapel and on the information boards in the wards.
The chapel is located on Level 1 across from the emergency room. You are welcome to attend the services in your regular hospital attire. The chapel is always open for silent prayer and meditation.
