Promotion of hospital digitization via the Hospital Future Act (KHZG)
Since late 2020, the digitization of hospitals in Germany has been driven forward by the “Hospital Future Fund” funding program.
This funding from the federal and state governments is in turn refinanced by the European Union’s “NextGenerationEU” funding program. The following is a list of the digitization projects at GPR-Klinikum Rüsselsheim funded through the KHZG and thus through NextGenerationEU:
- Digital Modernization of the Emergency Room (Funding Amount: 216,440 euros)
- Digital patient portal (funding amount: 346,000 euros)
- Digital Treatment and Care Documentation (Funding amount: 920,864 euros)
- Digital clinical decision support (funding amount: 425,675 euros)
- Digital medication management (grant amount: 631,865 euros)
- Information and communication technology for medical treatment and diagnostics (grant amount: 556,629 euros)
- Digital infrastructure security (grant amount: 657,107 euros)
