The Rheumatology Department cares for patients with inflammatory rheumatic diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, SLE (systemic lupus erythematosus), temporal arteritis, polymyalgia rheumatica, ankylosing spondylitis, and psoriatic arthritis.

- Joint aspiration with analysis of synovial fluid

- Autoimmune laboratory diagnostics

Rheumatological treatment options
- Anti-inflammatory medications (basic therapy, modern biologics including infusion therapy, pain management)
- Circulation-enhancing agents for ulcers on the hands and feet in patients with rheumatic conditions
- Therapeutic joint aspiration with cortisone
- Treatment of osteoporosis in patients with rheumatic diseases
