Special focus areas

The department offers virtually the entire range of surgical procedures within its specialty. The clinic’s particular areas of expertise include middle ear and salivarygland surgery, head and neck tumorsurgery, and the treatment of functional disorders of the nose and paranasal sinuses.

Equipped with the most advanced 4K video endoscopy system currently available, the ENT department holds a unique position in the region and offers minimally invasive and targeted sinus surgeries of the highest quality.

In the field of plastic surgery, the department performs reconstructive and aesthetic procedures with great expertise. These include, among others, cosmetic rhinoplasty, otoplasty, and scar revision or coverage of defects in the facial area (e.g., following the removal of skin tumors).

Procedures for children and adolescents include, in particular, removal of the palatine or pharyngeal tonsils, myringotomy, and insertion of middle ear drains (tympanostomy tubes). Our young guests are accommodated in the colorful Ward 23 of the Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. Outpatient procedures are performed in our Surgical Day Clinic (OTK).

The technical equipment is comprehensive and enables microscopic, endoscopic, and laser-assisted surgeries. Without exception, every procedure is performed at the specialist level. Our patients’trust is both our mission and our reward; therefore, in addition to providing impeccable medical care, treating patients with empathy is a key priority for the entire team.
