Living with cancer - Oncology studies. What does this mean for me as a patient?

The GPR Health and Care Center Rüsselsheim invites you to the next patient information event "Living with cancer" on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 18:00 to 19:00 in the cafeteria of the GPR Clinic. The topic this time: "Oncology studies. What does this mean for me as a patient?".

The event is open to patients, their families, and anyone interested. Participation is free of charge, and registration is not required.

Many patients wonder what role oncology studies play in their treatment and what opportunities or challenges they entail. The speakers will explain how studies are conducted, what eligibility criteria apply, and what benefits patients can derive from them. The speakers are Heike Borchert, study assistant, and Konstanze Waldhaus, oncology nurse/palliative care specialist.

The speakers for the evening are Konstanze Waldhaus, Oncology Nurse/Palliative Care Specialist, as well as Agnieszka Harms and other members of the Women’s Cancer Self-Help Group.

With the “Living with Cancer” event series, the GPR Health and Care Center in Rüsselsheim regularly offers patients, family members, and interested individuals a space for information, exchange, and support. Professionals from the fields of medicine, nursing, and counseling provide information on various aspects of living with cancer and offer valuable practical advice.
